Available with either wire leads or snap-in connection, the HC Series is well suited for consumer electronics, industrial and automation controllers, portable power tools, and in-system short term UPS (uninterruptible power supply). They feature a 10-year life capability and cycle life of 500,000 cycles with proprietary material science and packaging technology making them resistant to reverse polarity.

The 16V Small Module provides energy storage and power delivery in a compact, cost effective module for 1.5MW and smaller applications such as small UPS systems, telecommunications and other lighter duty industrial electronics applications. The modules can be easily series connected up to 750V and/or parallel connected for higher energy requirements.

The 16V Large Module is specifically engineered for hybrid vehicle drive trains, automotive subsystems and other heavy-duty applications that require the lowest equivalent series resistance (ESR) and highest efficiency available. It can meet demanding requirements for both watt-hours of energy storage and watts of power delivery per kilogram while performing reliably for more than one million discharge-recharge cycles. The 16V module comes in a rugged package that can be configured for higher voltages and energy as needed.

The 48V ultracapacitor module gives customers in transportation and industrial industries a broad range of choices to meet their energy storage and power delivery requirements. The rugged, environmentally resistant design makes the modules ideal for hybrid mining, construction, train and bus applications. For mission critical applications, such as data centers, telecom network facilities and hospital, the 56V UPS Module ensures continuous power during dips and sags in the main power source and provides transition/bridge power to a back-up source in longer-term outages. For industrial applications, ultracapacitor modules can enable graceful shutdown of process equipment. The modules are designed to fit in standard rack systems with up to 10KW (15 seconds) in 4U height. Two modules can fit in a 19” rack while three can fit in a 23” rack.
