The chipset, consisting of an advanced point of load controller IC and DrMOS integrated driver and power MOSFET offers high efficiency from light load to steady state and best-in-class transient performance. ZMDI power management DC/DC converters simplify design, minimize part count, and reduce board real estate, including current-mode synchronous buck DC/DC converter integrated circuits (ICs) with an input voltage range of 6V – 24 V (3A option is 6V to 20V) in both fixed-output voltage options of 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3 and 5 volts and a variable output voltage option of 0.9V to 5V.
